help with vestax decks

    i spilt a bit of tea down the ultra pitch the other day, now its really stiff (and when in its normal place, its a lot quicker than normal)...wanna get inside to have a look, but i cant even take off the platter....dont they normally just slide off? ive taken all the screws out

    The platter can be quite hard to take off, if you've undone the screws in the top it should come off but you'll probably need to give it a good yank.

    how the fuck do i get inside the dust cover (i think thats what its called anyway)

    there is just a few upside down screws...do i need to take the whole deck apart to get inside?

    The dustcover would be the lid that covers the platter, but i dont think its that that yer having trouble with, yer best bet is to take it to an authrosied dealer/music shop and get them to check it out falling that get in touch with vestax.

    dont matter its all sorted now anyway lol....took it apart...turns out i split tea right onto a chipboard.

    managed to clean it all up and they are working fine
