Help with Stanton SE30s

I bought a pair of stanton se30 needles, carts and headshells off of htfr, but when i put em on my decks they're too light and hover above the vinyl. I have to put a penny on top off the headshell but im worried this is gnna damage the needle. Anyone got any advice on what to do?
 
change the weight setting on the tone arm at the back, you should find a dial that you can adjust from 0 - 3.5.
 
Check the back of the tonearm stub where the counterweight screws on. Sometimes there's an extra weight screwed into the stub that needs to be removed for DJ carts.
