Help with speakers ?

does anyone know if these are worth buying ?
my mates dad used to have some rigged up to his turntables about 5 years ago..

he said they were incredible!

would anyone recommend them as they are quite expensive ?

they look pretty good tbh. for mixing purposes definately better than some studio boxes i suppose.

£300 is quite alot but mission stuff (pre audio partneship) is quality. they look the nuts as well. just make sure when you get them that the woofers are in good nick, just press them in with the speaker turned off and if there's any crunchyness just say no, the woofer should move smoothly back and forth. apart from that any visable damage to the tweeter would be a no no as well. oh and one last thing is give them a little shake if theres any play in the joints or rattling be warry, if one of the joints inside the case is loose it'l effect sound quality quite alot and could be an arse to fix.
