Help with ACTIVE SPEAKER systems (KRK)

I literally have 0 idea about speaker systems so any advice helps me...

been mixing through cue/headphones since day dot, have played out of speakers before but wanna get a little set up for home, what do I need?

I've been recommended KRK's, as to what size though, I'm not sure

only going to be used for home use, maybe a small house party, mix with a pal that's about it.

I have krk 6s + 10s woofer. Great to mix with in the bedroom and also can crank up for a small party when needed.Speaking for myself i think theyre great, but others here may have some recomendations

i got the krk 8's for the same reasons and they are more than good enough for my needs

i have the sixes which are great, but if you want a small size party you probably need a bit more oomph. Just shop around a bit.

Mackie MR series (5, 6 or 8). They're for producing really but they have a great low end so are good for just listening, DJing or whatever. I don't own a pair but I heard some in a shop once

I running (2) krk8's + (2) krk10" subs through a mixing board and I can cause a small earthquake at home lol
