Help with 1210 thanks

Hi People, Just quick question i got set of Technics 1210. Do i need to use rubber circle matt that goes under slipmatt. Seems to Make record high up, i cant twist spindle, if i need to. Im not very good with whole DJ thing at mo, im just starting to learn. Thanks

no mate, jus take that thick rubber thing off and put ur thin slipmats back on.

a piece of wax paper in it's place under your slip could be helpful too.

yea under the rubber there should be a thin wax paper type matt...keep that under your slipmat

Hi I didnt get bit thin wax paper with the decks, i bought them second hand. Does that matter? will it do damage? My slipmats aint that good design pelling off. Im after some DJ Hype slipmats, but i cant found them all sold out. Thanks Matt

na ya dont realy need a wax bit tbh.
an as long as ya slipmats arnt ripped or sumfin they shud b fine

Yeah, the wax paper ain't a must, but if you got some half-ass slips it will help.
