This isn't some fake chain letter...Please read this important message:

"The future of Internet radio is in immediate danger. Royalty rates for webcasters have been drastically increased by a recent ruling and are due to go into effect on May 15 (retroactive to Jan 1, 2006!). If the increased rates remain unchanged, the majority of webcasters will go bankrupt and silent on this date. Internet radio needs your help! H.R. 2060, The Internet Radio Equality Act was introduced by Representatives Jay Inslee (D-WA) and Donald Manzullo (R-IL ) to save the Internet radio industry."

Bascially this means that on may 15th of this year all US music stations on the internet that aren't big pop-mtv "commercialy viable" stations will have to stop broadcasting. That's it! No more music!

We need eveyone's help in saving internet radio. goto http://www.savenetradio.org/ and support your independent music. Even if you are not from the US you can still go there and show support! Please repost this message and tell all your friends and family who enjoy music.

Please help keep internet radio alive!

THat is bad news, especially for small labels, as internet radio probably helps create a buzz about their tunes
