Hey logiks im adding some nice sub bass now, hopefully it should sound ok, Its got a different feel to the bass so hopefully it should give the track a bit of variation, havnt attempted the drop yet though so its quite boring, when the sub bass comes in

serum got signed to dread, not as in one tune contract, but as in every tune he makes has to go on that label, starting with vile and bleak. that was with fruity 5.
not to mention concorde dawn and spor. fucking spor man

how do you know that logikz? you telling me they all just use fruity and thats it? hmm thats probably why theres not alot going on in there tunes then , but i dont believe that. and before you think im slagging them off, im not, i like Serums stuff and buy his tunes, on vinyl as well and spor's who both i rate highly. as i said, there probably getting alot more out of it than most because they've sussed it right out. getting the best out it.

if you used any single one piece of software, your limiting yourself. just like producing one genre in one style of music. - this is my opinion and i stand by it. another thing - its EASIER to put a tune together in a sequencer.

so why dont all the pros just use fruity then and save themselves an arm and a leg buying all that other shit?
why do people bother spending thousands on bits of hardware if they can just do it all in FL?

also, just cos your a mod that doesnt mean your always right now does it

what really matters is your creative ideas mate, and if you get that across, however you do it, thats the main thing.

absolutely berlitz its a nice progression.

i know that, kemzino, cos i know serum personally, and saw that whole thing happen back then.
its tunes strickly made in flp, with samples from vinyl, processed with vsts. theres probably some cooledit in there too.

as a mod im certainly not always right, but your claim is flat out wrong and its a discussion youll never win,
as there are many examples to the contrary.

concorde dawn is the other most notable example, but wether it was only flp or not i dont know, and as for spor its just something i heard, but it seems to be commonly accepted. which is curious to say the least.

why everyone doesnt use it is irrelevant, there are alternatives, and flp is one of them

every pro studio and set up ive seen or been in, ive never seen there main creative interface as Fruity loops. ever. the reason most people use these is because its bang for the buck. its cheap software, and you do get alot of it yeah granted, im not slagging off that software at all, it genius and i used to use it alot at college whilst doing my sound engineering course.

maybe this is just my personal opinion then, and likewise yours. i dont want to argue with you Logikz but saying im flat out wrong is an obnoxious comment.

if a really well known dnb producer said the same thing as me on here you wouldnt have called them flat out wrong would ya

Just bought Ableton live 6, for a nice price online, to get myself started with. I still plan to use FL though, I find it really easy.

good choice! havent use that prog myself but theres a guy here at work who swears by it, and ive heard many a good comment on it.

or are all midi boards basicaly the same????
meaning as they only control the sounds and not actually make em right???
