Ok, I've been mixing for about 3 months now, and ever since I started, I've been getting this annoying bassy sound coming from my speakers when I start mixing.
I was kinda confused though, because the noise only happens when the needle is on the vinyl, but its not spinning. As soon as I switch the motor on and the platter starts spinning, the noise stops. In the breaks in the tune (for example, the break in original sin - solar) the noise comes back.
It didn't bother me at first but now its annoying.

Any idea what it might be? or how I can stop it happening?

    Any help is appreciated.

It sounds like a feedback loop. Are the decks close to the speakers?

Yeah the speakers are under the table where my decks sit. I don't really wanna move the speakers cuz my room is so small and there's no room for them anywhere else. Any way to stop it happening?

^^^ Or you can try putting the decks on top of paving slabs. Or better yet, both.

Seriously? Paving Slabs? My table won't hold paving slabs its not strong enough lol I think I might need to get a proper deckstand.

I might try the tennis ball thing though

Does It stop the vibration or something?
