My mother language is not English.
Plain English would be appreciated if you could answer me.

    I read this Marky's interview

    i don't know this line
"I wanted to try and get that ebb and flow kind of vibe where the music brings you up and then slows you back down again, like a journey of some description"

What is the meaning of "ebb and flow" ?

Up & down. Fast & slow. Wax and wane.

Like when the tides rise and then recede. I guess he wanted a tune to have a certain amount of energy in the beginning phrases and then drop down a bit.
