help me make this classic dnb bass

one of very first dnb tunes I loved long ago when I was 15 year old was mighty No Test from Distorted Minds

it have this rough,dirty,crispy bass and I have no idea how to make it,it was in many many tunes

so how you make this? its atleast 9 year old sound now,I believe many people figured this one out

Which one are you talking about, some of the gnarly reeses? Best bet would be the usual saw and squarewaves detuned and hell a lot of distortions.

I am talking about the one that is in all three tunes

I dont think its easy as that,there must be some important step to do these
 
i remember no test, loved that tune!

gotta be saws, far to gritty for squares!

have a play round with them detunes at different cents... probably get a dubstep style bass tutorial covering a very similar sound!
