Greetings one and all,
Firstly, some introductions are in order. My name's Ed, and I'm Dylan
and Robyn's new worker bee here at Freak Recordings in Bristol. I'm going to be 'helping'
(ha!) with Freak and Therapy biz from now on, so feel free to send any
questions my way- if you think they're too stupid to be bothering Robyn
with, then they're probably right on my level...
Down to business: There are some sick, sick acts coming your way over
the next few months.
Firstly, a trio that should need no introduction by now: Evol Intent.
Their set at Therapy here in Bristol scared the life out of everyone
who heard it, and their production schedule shows so signs of slowing.
There are only two dates- April 15th and 16th- left for their tour, so
I heartily recommend you snap them up sharpish!
Moving into May, Corrupt Souls will be scaring the villagers in a hovel
near you. Their 'Wicked Life' EP hasn't left the front of my box for
months now, and with releases to follow on labels such as Black Sun
Empire and Freak this looks like being a big year for the pair. Dates
available run from May 14th right the way to early June, so plenty of
opportunities to do some damage- make it happen.
And -grab him now before someone else does- Justin of Counterstrike
fame has one date left to fill in his tour, on May 20th. Their
forthcoming Shadow EP is all killer and no filler, and will definitely
raise their profile a whole bunch once it hits the shops, so book him
now and stay one step ahead!
Don't forget, many other artists on the Anger Management roster are
available to book at present: Dylan, Tech Itch (or
Technical Freaks), Raiden, C4C, Loxy, Ink, Nightbreed, Robyn Chaos,
Bkey, Kryptic Minds and Hive are all presently doing the rounds, so if
those names tickle your fancy then give me a shout.
Right, that's enough talk for now- remember: send any questions/ moral
dilemmas/ homemade porn my way, when you're chained up in the basement
for days on end it can get lonely at times.
Catch you all soon I hope,
Ed
