Hello from iceland

Hey my name is Bjarni but go by the artist name Bred in Breiðholt and i'm from reykjavík, iceland, been making music since the age of 17 when a friend introduced me to fasttracker 2 and a relationship was bonded with music for life...now slightly older and ( wiser ?) at the ripe age of 38.

I fell in love with drum and bass after i first heard Adam f - circles at the age of 14-15 i think and the next few months i played it all day long and wasnt able to fall asleep unless it was playing, today my biggest influenes have been Gridlok, Audio, Bad company and Noisia to name a few.

Years go by, family is started and music gets on hold for some years over some periods of time, passion has been growing for the past few years and has taken peek this year, looking forward to getting to know all you fine producers and always open for collaborations.

went mainstream i believe...their old stuff is what got me interrested in the first place, as for Gridlok...he has aged well and evolved into something i would like to achieve one day...

wow your making blush, thank you for those compliments....Unknown Error was made with a crappy laptop installed with fl studio, 5$ external soundcard and my loving Shure Srh440 monitor headphones ( Shure deliveres! ), no external speakers used, leveling was a bitch haha

drop or no drop, hidden drop or not...small beat changes and the flow was meant as the origional purpose of the song

reccently updated my gear to Alesis elevate 3 mkii studio monitors and akai mpk mini keyboard ( white edition ) ive been making good use of these magnificent items, the speakers are the best budget monitors i have ever owned.

 

one of these days when it gets to the point if it becomes vital for my progression as a producer

 

sadly not my strongest point, not sure i have any projects laying around that has that...recently had to start from scratch because my old laptop got completed and like an idiot i forgot to back everything up, sad day....but i had some songs which were finished laying around my alter egos soundcloud that will be released in the near future.

melodies have always been my weak point, beats are my thing but need to learn more about the melodic,bass and other elements.

can you give me your best example of a song that uses warpy bass science ?

last time i made something that got released was 2 years ago and since then i've been lost, life got me by the balls, struggles and endless struggles, finally gettting back on track...these songs were the last remaining on my old laptop.
