Its not just a sine wave, its got 2nd and 3rd order harmonics

Because you can't look at the sub by itself during the clip, you cant see what else makes it up. I'd say a sine and a saw wave of the same pitch should get you the same deal.

I think he means the distorted highs that you get in old taxman tunes like robo cop... annix, konichi and I think spaow all do the same thing today.
