Thought id share this with you as it may be of interest to some of you guys! :)

I got into drum n bass when i was around 17.
but also between the ages of 16 and 20 i was the vocalist and studio bassist in a heavy metal band. Im sure a few of you appreciate that side of the music spectrum ?... im hoping anyway :S

for a lil while we were pretty big.

    Toured the UK and europe,
had an album for sale in HMV, amazon, play ect
played for numerous big labels (including roadrunner),
had uk and european merch distribution,
big reviews by every alt magazine you could think of.

    that kinda thing.

This is a pic of us.... This was the first date of a uk tour we did with australian band The Berzerker.

(before anyone asks i dont have those ears any more lol)

ANYHOW! was just wondering if there are any metalheads on here that like our sound... heres some tunes!!

edit: whether you like it or not it would be nice to know what you think as we are thinkin of starting again, cheers guys. :)

yeah, i used to like a bit of metal... was basicly a skater / rocker before i found the nirvana of dnb

not so keen on the shouty side of things really, but like the pace and feeling... always wanted to do a heavy metal dnb tune! (inb4 heavy metal by twisted)

but i was always more of a punk than metal, and more ska than lefty punk

dig it...was a proper little metal'ead from about 11-16, the dnb crossover happening when i was about 15, (although i'd always been around it, my uncle used to listen to a lot of jungle) hardly listen to it anymore, but it's always been a part of my life, and still occasionally check out a local gig if mates are playin.

I used to work the Road crew for Roadrunner, nothing too sick, but got myself backstage passes and that at the gigs, managed to meet the like of Machine Head, Killswitch Engage, even managed to meet Down which had Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown from Pantera as band members.

Still listen to a bit of Machine head now, nice to get a bit of energetic carnage in my ears lol.
