Hazard - Time Tripping

Cutting Vinyl facebook page:
100 x 12" White Label DEAL with white paper inner bags & white spine outer bag......£352.00 ( includes Mastering / metal work ) ................
12 " x 300 Black vinyl " WHITE LABEL DEAL ! " £501.00

so basically, at 6 pounds per pop from their website, even a mere 100 copies done through these guys would make 250 pounds, and if they can sell 300 they'd be making 1300!....not bad to keep your fans happy

steeves a good kutter too

Well ive bought the thing and i dont even have turntables. They'll surely sell enough, the tune is huge.

I'm so tempted to buy a TT. Bought this and Mob Justice rmx just for the crack but it seems a shame to have them lined up on my fire place doing nothing..

ordered this and can't wait, Time tripping is a dancefloor killer remember when it first popped off at fabric last year :gun: :rambo:

glad this is happening - but I don't see it becoming a regular thing due to the pretty un-inspiring (as per usual) comments by Playaz. might be the very last one by them (at least they won't be finishing with that god-awful Original Sin EP now at least)

You won't regret it

Going to bag this later fingers crossed it doesn't take too long!

I feel like there might be something wrong with me...am I the only one really not digging this?

i think that vinyl is pretty much dead in the sub genre 'jump up' cos all of the tunes are so disposable (cue the hate). There is a good chance that any given jump up tune made in the last 2 years has no less than 5 VIPs, 2 remixes and a drumstep edit. The reason this one is selling is cos it has a different appeal about it and doesnt just appeal to the jamp ap heads.

one standard jump up release from mid 2011 - http://www.discogs.com/Cue-Gangster-Level-Check-Dominator-Remix/release/3018599 6 have it, 2 want it, 4 for sale.

one standard normal release from mid 2011 (and this is a standard release, not necessarily a future classic) - http://www.discogs.com/Genotype-A-Few-Too-Many-The-Director/release/3105557 47 have it, 10 want it, 11 for sale

Yeah thats a good point. I remember Kasra opening a mix with it.. When is the last time he opened with/even played a Playaz tune?

Dunno if its just that man, I just think that (like me :teeth:) younger people are mixing cds not vinyl, I don't have that desire for vinyl. Its more the music for me than the way its played. And tbh I probably prefer the cleaner sound I've gotta admit, plus the size and cost of vinyl and lack of tt's in clubs gave me an easy decision really.

Preparing for lynch mob.

agree with that but that would mean the decline of vinyl evenly over the whole spectrum. you cant ignore the fact that the decline in vinyl is far faster in jump up dnb compared to the minimal dnb sector for example. its gotta be more than just a coincidence

in all fairness to hazard, a lot of his beats get played outside the jump up scene, Ive cained air guitar and never the same for months, and I just got Time Tripping on promo and the same will happen with that!

If you read through the thread you would see my comments on page 2 & 3.

I don't see what all the fuss is either. Bad news for us as just about every dnb dj is playing this at the minute
