I think the beat is nice, but something needs to be done w/ those vocals. It isn't really about their place in the mix, just the character element to them. I like the work you did on their resampling with the slight detuning, but they just seem an octave too low.
As-is they kinda make it sound a little cheesy, it'd be neat to see them upped a harmonic (or just lay a layer a harmonic higher) on top as a sub element and make 'em a bit more robotic to fit into the track better 'cuz like I said, the beat is tight but the vocals are a bit weak (just a personal opinion).
