Hardware synths like microcorg. Good or Bad?

Would anyone reccoment any hardware synthesisers or would you say software synths are better :o what do the proffesional producers use?

one of my bros has a microkorg and its sweet
ive got a waldorf thats pretty mean as well
sure some could say that hard or soft is a matter of pref and usually money
i do enjoy having the fukin thing sitting in front of me though

most certainly, check the 2nd track on www.myspace.com/carlekman called goldengrill, all the bass is from a microkorg there too. in fact i think ill post that tune on the tunes forum.
