So yeah...I'm still quite new to production and i have around £200 to spend on a bit of studio porn, should i bother buying a hardware synth? or will it be a bit rubbish for £200? would i exhaust the palette of interesting sounds quite quickly do you reckon? Or shoud i consider buying a midi keyboard and just unsing logics built in synths? or maybe one that does everything? or would this compromise the quality? I'm confuzzled. Help!

The microkorg is in your pricerange and I use that for midi all the time and for it's fucking nice sub bass it can dish out. But I'd check on musician'sfriend see what's there, I can say I absoluetly love that site

cheers.
