top of the morning to ye
good excuse to go and drink my bodyweight in guiness after work
mmm, my SU has murphys at £1.75 a pint all day. gonna do a few hours work cause I can't afford not to then get wrecked.
HAPPY PADDYS DAY BOYS
im not even irish...or even claim to have irish blood, i did go out with a northern irish girl tho...she was mental.....
Happy st paddies ya doirty feckers
see i love the irish, but how come theyre the only country (that i can think of right now) that has an international celebration day?
there is australia day i suppose but its not the same
tell me about it mate.......
because most irish people dont live in ireland....
its not an international day. Its a patron Saint day. Same as st georges day (england) st Andrews day (scotland) and st davids day (wales).
The only reason paddys day is world wide celebrated is because of the Great Irish potato famine, Majority of irish fled to different countries. This is why you always find a irishman where ever you go. I think the fact that its linked to a big old piss up makes it more appealing to celebrate rather than the other Saints.
same wonder if it was the same one, or is it more than likey they are all crazy? I'd go with the latter
yeah its got to be the latter. when i say crazy i mean like actually crack pot crazy...banging on about the IRA and "English cunts" all the time....
happy paddys day, my friend is lucky enough to have his birthday today.
shits crazy here today some big parade goin on then an all day music thingy in a club gonna get twatted!
Gonna play the Wolftones on full blast when I get home. Top o' the mornin and all that jazz...
Yes, same to you.
I don't get the English obsession with celebrating St. Patrick's day! Plus Guinness tastes like liquefied beef
But happy St. Patrick's day none the less!!
just cos we live in england doesn't mean we are english...
I'm failing to see a problem here....
I'm part Irish (My old mans family is from Ireland, although he was born over here). Unfortunately not out tonight, but I have a massive piss up arranged this weekend so that will make up for it.
Nah there is no problem just an excuse to get pissed up i suppose i just want to know why no English people celebrate St. George's day but they love 2 celebrate St Paddy's
