16th note cymbals too loud - same when you roll the kick drum, it's dipping the master limiter noticeably. The overall sound at 2:53 is very nice - I can't help but feel that the pads before that are too loud - try adding bp sweeps for interest, maybe dipping their EQ at 1kHz (which is about their pitch) cause they sound annoyingly sine wavey...

I'm listening on "not speakers" so I'm guessing that it lacks overall volume because the bass is too loud but can't really judge.

Honestly, it's a really really nice track just has some simple to fix balance issues. I'm sure someone else will be more helpful. What's the BPM, lol, I spin at 170?

    Cheers,
    J.P.

Oh, it does not lack volume, SC was being weird. Click and listen to drums during intro, then click and listen to drums in the middle of the track. That's a limiter problem.

Thanks very much, a very informative and useful reply. I appreciate it. I am gonna try and master the track, although I get confused on the frequencies side.

    Thanks again.
