    Hi All,

On Sunday 25th October, I shall be be running the Bupa Great South Run in Portsmouth in aid of CLIC Sargent Childrens Cancer charity. The race is 10 miles long - and for anyone who knows me, I am THE unfittest person in the world so this is a great personal challenge! So I request any donations towards this worthwhile cause would be very much appreciated!

"CLIC Sargent is the UK's leading children's cancer charity. We provide the widest range of services and the highest number of care professionals to look after children and young people with cancer and their families. Our services are tailored to family-needs, using feedback from our service-users.

As advocates we give children, young people and their families a strong national voice, helping them to be heard and understood. Our research looks at ways of improving treatment and managing side-effects, to help patients and to improve quality of life for survivors.

CLIC Sargent was formed in 2005 after a successful merger between CLIC and Sargent Cancer Care for Children. Both had a rich history of excellent care and support and together we are stronger and more effective providing more for more children and young people with cancer and their families."
