    1) Okay, anybody got any absolute favourite dnb remixes of non-dnb tracks?

    2) And what tracks do you think absolutely need a remix?
    ...
    1) Born Slippy/Underworld - London Elektricity

Ready Or Not/Fugees - Zinc - yeah yeah I know but its a floor stormer for non dnb heads

    B-Boy Stance/Freestylers - Grooverider

    2) WHERE IS THE MF REMIX OF BLINDED BY THE LIGHTS? You can go Liquid, Jumpup, Darkside with this... damn...

    Non DnB Remixes I like

Krust remix of Ram Jam World with an Ed Rush & Optical remix on the other side (dunno if anyone knows this plate but its heavy as fuck, second hand gold)

Calibre remix of Jaheim - Put That Woman First

High Contrast remix of FSOL - Papa Nu Guinea

Non Drum & Bass tunes I'd like to see remixed

    Portishead - Strangers or Numb

    DJ Vadim - B Boy

Irresistable Force - Nepalese Bliss (and the Jimpster remix is sweet too)

    Koushik - Be With

    SOAD - War?

Lamb - God Bless or Clouds Clear

Bobby Digital - My Lovin' is Digi

    Bjork - Hyperballad or Joga

Can't think of any more right now, but i know there is loads more that could have a sweet dnb lick put on it

    1) I'm not really familiar with a whole heap, i suspect this thread will open ym eyes.
amerie - one thing (dunno who was behind this)
    kelis - milkshake (kiko rmx)

i never knew London Elektricity did Born Slippy, will have to investigate that.

    2)
    ac/dc - thunderstruck \m/
UB40 - give it the ragga treatment - job for someone on soundboy?
black eyed peas - dont phunk with my heart

um, that will do of subjecting dnbforum to my horrible music tastes :teeth:

    1)
Visage - Fade to Grey (Noisia Remix) - HOT HOT tune
ODB & Black Keith - Thirst (Lemon D Remix)
There's quite a few competent remixes across the camouflage and other bootleg series' too but I dont know them.

    2) I reckon some of the old garage tunes would sound wicked with a drum & bass re-rub:
Doolally - Straight from the heart
    Zed Bias - Neighbourhood
Ed Case - Something in your eyes
Tina Moore - Never gonna let you go

And also mabye some classics too, no tune is untouchable. Contrary to what others might think, I dont believe remixing a classic tune is a sin - after all the original's still untouched if you dont like the remix?!
    Double 99 - RIP Groove
Sneaker Pimps - Spin Spin Sugar
    187 Lockdown - Gunman

I think remixes which are worthy of been named are as follows:

Spirit - Out of Control (Cause4Concern Remix)
Krust - Jazz Note (Total Science remix)
    Rawthang - Epilogue VIP
Pascal - P-Funk Era (Moving Fusion remix)
Foul Play- Open Your Mind (Tango remix)
    Konflict - Messiah (Noisia Remix)
High Contrast - Global Love (John B remix)

These are just a few of the top of my head. As for non-dnb it tunes to get a re-lick it goes a little something like this:

System of A Down - Deer Dance (B-Key remix)
Three Drives on A Vinyl - Greece 2000 (Illskillz remix)
Kano - Reload It (Zinc or Brockie remix)
Bob Marley - Waiting In Vein (Calibre remix)
Incubus - Shade of Green (Hive remix)
Funeral for a Friend - Sonny (Echo remix) The intro on this tune is pretty damn sexy!

    1) ANGEL OF THEFT by PLAYER (Amon Tobin, supposedly) Remix of Angel of Death by Slayer on see-through red vinyl with the tune on 1 side and a pentagram on the other... Pressed in the fires of hell by Satan himself. :slayer:

    2) I've always wanted to hear a D&B remix of PRISON SONG by SYSTEM OF A DOWN... After remixing Horns and Halos so well recently I think Ewun is the man for the job.

High Contrast's 'No Soul' rmx is probably one of the best remixes of a non-dnb tune ever

Good to see people think SOAD's music would suit dnb remixes well, Ive always thought so

Great Remixes of non-dnb tunes imo are:

Smoken - Natalie Umbruglia - Bad Ace Inc Remix (lush vocals, killer beats, dirty bass, an breakdown in the middle to takes you away to another place!)

Stand Clear - M.O.P. - Origin Unkown RMX
(a Perfectly crafted hip hop/dnb cross-over tune twisted by Andrew Clarke and Anthony Miles)

Why? - Heartless Crew - Shy FX RMX
(Defo not what youd expect from the Ebony boss, more reminisant of a Dillinja tune than a Shy tune!)

White Stripes - Blue orchid - High Contrast RMX
(Aint heard it personally, but it comes highly recommended)

    Would love to see:
Believe - Chemical Bros. - Counterstrike RMX
Block Rockin Beats - Chemical Bros - Dillinja RMX
Claustrophobic Sting - Prodigy - Spor RMX
Trip 2 the Moon - Acen - Subfocus RMX
or any old school tune remixed by Bad Ace Inc (Sweet Harmony was the nuts!)
