flipping heck. im strangely comfortable with the lower midrange vocals (phil anselmo tone kind of thing, even leviathan went growl on his newest) and the whole album is like they too my favorite songs (prosperity and beauty, prayer) and just expounded on them. granted, the whole sound is very low and pronounced. revolutionary, in a way.

Great album but just way to many mentions of satan it just becomes comical

I can't watch from work but you're saying Gorgoroth went full retard? This means, full Behemoth?

I like the old Gorgoroth albums, but one in special (that is not too old) is the best of their discography: Incipit Satan. So many good riffs on this one! Plus the industrial/BM crossover. This album give me chills.

And claude, ffs, man. Black Metal isn't about heaviness. Want a heavy album, go listen to Cannibal Corpse.

I've got the most black metal song anyone has ever heard, mentions satan from start to finish, some may say that it was written by satan himself, it's that black metal!!

While Slipknot is THE band, right? What if I tell you that most of their songs have influences from death metal? From lyrics content to gutural vocals to blast beats?

I'm a 80's metal guy, mate. With few exceptions. And Slipknot is one of them. They're quality. At least better than most bands out there, like AX7, which has been called "the New Metallica". pffft.

can you b eleieve hoest (taake) is the vocalist when they perform live?

what the fuck, i mean using attingerer for vocals on bestialis was clearly a statement, and in my opinion a very reinkaos kind of statement, but i just love the bm shriek aesthetic, i mean there are seriously low shrieks like abbath or wrest or ghaal when he goes low (because ghaals range is truly vast, i cant believe people claiming his vocals is the result of processing and effects, his black metal shriek has the fucking reach twelve octaves easily.
and i like the effect, bestialis is awesome, im into it, but heres the thing, if hoest is their live vocalist, annnnnnnnnndddd........... he just so happens to be the most accomplished black metal musician tr00 kvlt and mult instrumentalist genius on quite simply everything he touches (you ever heard taake live? its like youre listeninig to the record, and that, considering the sound and song structure combined with his work ethic, im pretty sure he refuses pods and more, hoest is known for a very specific cocktail of mental issues) like.... couldnt they just tune up their shit to a concert d tuning and let hoest do the vocals?

not like they never did it before? when they re-recorded under the sign of hell, they tuned the guitars down to drop c¤ and changed vocalist soooooooooooooooo

ffs, hoest is a musician of fucking bach, brams and beethoven class.

hey claude, isvind isnt fucking half bad!!!

and bodo, im not sure hes entirely honest with the slipknot thing

it is part of one ritual, "ask-enthe" i believe, to kill a black dog. no suffering for the animal is allowed, that much goes without saying, i should say. the entity you summon must stay within the octagram, but usually looks like its in there for legacy purposes mainly, out of courtesy really.

If I must talk about myself, for me is classic piece of art first album with Pest . I think, It was nice idea to bring old line up to the Gorgoroth , but last things is quite less more powerfull that old one. But still better than new Mayhem or Burzum. Dont take me wrong. I was never in to Mayhem and Burzum, they re both legend in same way but from Norway i prefer more Gorgoroth, 1349 , Taake and immortal , but yet dead Emperor
