I just picked up a pair of M-Audio 4"s w/tweets, preamped for around $160. They don't sound like something I'd rely on 'standalone', but they're perfect for being a decent center stage for my setup.... and honestly, for $160, I think they sound really good.

for £230 you can get a pair of yamaha Hs 50m. ive had experience with the bigger hs 80m, and for the price they are just brilliant.

Actually I'm cool with what I've got, but one of these days, I will own these... it'll probably be when the MK3s roll around, ha.

I picked up a pair of the 6" MK2s for my Pops and his Triton and they sound freaking amazing!

Expensive as hell though
