Im sorry I know this thread has been created over a million times, but I just need some advice. Im having some money coming my way soon and I decided I should buy some nice speakers seeing that the ones I currently use were made for computers lol

Anyways, I was looking at these: http://www.chemical-records.co.uk/sc/servlet/Info?Track=KPCS20

What do you guys think?

Im willing to spend up to around 100 pounds (can go a bit more if it's worth it), so any suggestions you got send them in this way. These speakers got to last for quite some time

Thanks

ive got them speakers hooked up to my decks in my bedroom mate, and theyre pretty good, they go fairly loud for their size, and the woofer is VERY loud for 30 watts, it often overpowers the speakers though, so u usually have to have the bass turned down a bit. Other than that, the qualitys good. I think you could probably get louder passive speakers for 100, but i dnt think u'd get the same bass or quality. ;)

Anyone got any experience with these? Are they better than the Kam ones?

my mate has got them, they aint great...

if you want sick speakers for cheap then look on ebay mate anything new for under 100 quid is gonna be pretty shite tbf, my advice is look for second hand, good condition b&w speakers, they really are fucking sick for the money

example - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/B-W-DM-601-SP...0|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318|301:1|293:1|294:50

you'll be able to get better deals than that though if you shop around my mate got a much bigger pair than that with amp included for 130 quid

Well I don't know they seem a bit too cheap

I think im going with either "Kam Soundpack 2/3" or the "Kam KPCS20 Active 2.1"

Their small and fit well in my room :)

if i were u i wud buy the one KRK rokit 5 n wait till u have more money so u can buy another... u wont find better sound quality in this price range and they pack a mighty punch.

I have rokit 6 mk1's and theyre my babies soooo fuckin sweeet.

just got delivery of some krk rokit 5 today! i havent heard them as yet but they are ment to be ace! at 269 a pair they are outside ur price range but one thing i have learnt from buying cheap equipment is it costs more in the long run when u need to replace them!

Those KRK do seem great and I would love to buy them but I need some extra money to buy new vinyls, so at the moment they are a bit out of range
