Basically would like to know how how can I get a slot on one of the radios that some of you guys are on?

Basically share your experiences of where you started and where you are now etc.

Which radio stations should I be looking to try and get a slot on, being I have no radio experience as of yet, been mixing for a couple of years now and want to get some experience.

Any tips, stories, whatever would be helpful =)

    Thanks in advance

i did friday night at first 10 till 12 then i did monday night 8 till 10, its good fun, u have to speak on the mic n stuff tho...but u get used to that, 2 hours is a long slog ya know...i would stick to one hour at first, cos sometimes u find urself just playing the same tunes everyweek, or playing basically he same set...sometimes u will find yourself getting a not too great time but if u stick with it u will get offered better times...why dont you try and get involved with the DnBforum radio? u can get a guest slot and play bi-weeklie i think...get on it son!!!!

    Watz cracking bruv?

Currently on Disfunktional-Radio.co.uk and will soon be joining Darkwaxradio.com.

It's good fun man, I tend not to talk much, just do an intro then mix away for an hour.

Just visit as many stations as you can and give em a demo (usually 30mins). Disfunktional has lots of slots free on Frday. It's not a DnB only station though, it's a dance music station.

    Good luck bro.

the main radio server has a liberary of tune, so if ya connection fucks up and u go offline it just starts a playlist until you reconnect...I used Winamp shout cast to broadcast and it works splendid.

Yeah it's easy setting it up. Just follow the intructions the station gives you and your done.

New station, they've got loads of slots available. Soulful, Liquid DnB apparently.

    I DJ on atomic-vibez.co.uk

I have another station to mix on too but I have not sorted a time yet, just send your best mix to stations, there are a lot out there to choose from. My internet is not great though, I always have to lower the kbps but I changed it to the AAC encoder last week and it stopped the buffering so think I will use that from now on.

    (I use shoutcast)
