Its finally Autumn and the sun disappears at 6 pm.

Nothing depresses me more than a lack of sun. I end up spending my time in pubs, clubs and at home.

    Horrid!

Plan: buy another house in Australia so its always spring or summer somewhere I can go to.

in winter when i wake up its dark. then when the hour comes and i get off work/school, it's dark again. The sun shines 3-4 hours a day in january up here.

Yeah. While I don't mind Winter, the early dark nights have already started to depress me a little.

Good for D+B production gets me in the right mood.................................i.,e moody

It is unatural to get up when it is dark, i think the work day should be directly relavent to the ammount of daylight hours so in the winter we only work 5-6hours a day
    What do we reckon?
I am gonna write to the EU civil rights court tonight petitioning for 20 hour work weeks in winter............

I dont mind the dark as long as i have someone special to keep me warm, and lead me to water.

Christmas is by far the most depressing time of the year. Always makes me feel off, and for good cause.

I've got also got someone special but I'm really sensitive to light - so get easily depressed. I'm waiting now for Christmas for the days to start getting longer.

I actually quite like the winter, and dark nights...

What I don't like is after Christmas, when the lights get taken down.

Then you got the long, dark nights without the flashing Santas and ropelights, etc, which have been providing some colour and light for the past month...

If you think British winter's bad. Try Sweden. 2 hours daylight in mid-winter.

Not much to do but sleep, eat, drink and sauna, or maybe ski or ice skate. Very de-energising, but bearable with good company!

I've only any ever done 2 wks over Xmas, but they got snow til March...I don't think I could survive it.
