CHASE & STATUS FEAT PLAN B ‘END CREDITS’ OUT NOW!!
Already recognised as the breakthrough act of 2009, Chase & Status have quickly established themselves as two of the most sought after DJs in the land. Their debut album ‘More Than A Lot’ was released last year on RAM Records, and went on to sell over 75,000 records, buoyed by the hits ‘Pieces’ and ‘Against All Odds’. Since then, their output has included remixes for Jay Z and The Prodigy, collaborations with Snoop Dogg and more recently, production on Rihanna's forthcoming album.

Their new single ‘End Credits’ (featuring Plan B) is set to be their biggest hit yet having been used as the signature track for the forthcoming British film ‘Harry Brown’ starring Michael Caine. HERVÉ CHATS TO GET LOADED!
Be it as Hervé or his alter-ego ‘The Count’ (alongside Sinden), Joshua Harvey continues to set the pace as one of the hottest talents currently exported from our shores. 2009 witnessed Hervé play alongside The Prodigy as their support DJ on the ‘Invaders Must Die’ tour following his storming remix of ‘Omen’. His Cheap Thrills label is responsible for igniting dance floors around the world, whilst his productions alongside the likes of DJ Sneak, Trevor Loveys and Toddla T have gone a long way to injecting fun well and truly back into club music. A bona fide superstar and generation defining producer in the making, we are delighted that Hervé took time out from his busy schedule to speak to us...

NEWS JUST IN...
As the dark nights set in, the countdown to the New Year begins! The pumpkins and fireworks have been and gone, so Get Loaded in the Dark is the next big showpiece to occupy our calendars... and what an event it’s going to be! New Years Eve will witness the world famous Brixton Academy come alive to one of the most impressive line-ups you’re likely to come across in the UK this year! A mighty 4,500 of you will welcome in the new decade with the scenes most recognised acts showcasing everything from house to hip hop, electro to techno and drum & bass to dubstep and prove exactly why they’re the most exciting names in the game.

As we expected tickets have been flying out as people flock to various ticket outlets. Early Bird and Saver tickets have now completely sold out, proving just how popular this event has become. Standard tickets are now available but are set to follow the trend and sell sell sell as the event approaches… after all you’d be a fool to miss out!

Chase & Status are set to be one of the events stand out performers and a big thank you must go to everyone who helped the drum & bass duo storm to chart success with their new track ‘End Credits’. Chase & Status are merely the tip of the iceberg however with more major announcements still to be made including the VERY special midnight guest. Before we hit the slopes of Mayrhofen, Austria next April for a spot of snowboarding, Jagermeister shots and the odd snowball fight, we are privileged to welcome to Get Loaded in the Dark our favourite show on snow; Snowbombing! Over the last few years Snowbombing has evolved into one of the world’s most unique music festivals, welcoming the likes of Fatboy Slim, Madness, Grandmaster Flash and Dizzee Rascal, so when the opportunity arose for them to unleash their madness in The Foyer at our NYE spectacular we grabbed the opportunity with both hands! (Or should that be gloves?)

Resident DJs at the UK’s premier student night Union, the Union DJs have spent 2009 taking their mandate of destruction across the country and further afield. Their residencies at fabric and matter go from strength to strength with the likes of Bloc Party, Pendulum, Mylo, Zane Lowe, Digitalism and Erol Alkan all performing and attracting an army of fun loving mentalists with no regard for what clubbing ‘supposed’ to be. Their most recent tour took in huge gigs in Sheffield, Bristol, Oxford, Brighton and Southampton headlined by the legendary Faithless, with tales of anarchy and debauchery making it all the way back to Get Loaded HQ. Constantly raising their game and obliterating everything in their path, we are delighted to welcome the awesome Union DJs as they see out the year with an exclusive set at Get Loaded in the Dark.

Hosting the Balcony Bar will be Crooked and their progressive, tech and funk fuelled house beats. The brainchild of Julian Wilson and Kris Honeycombe, Crooked intends to push the boundaries of how much fun one person can have and more so than ever on the biggest night of the year! This will be Crooked’s largest event yet with DJs Reveal, Clay Hey, Rich Nicholas, The Real Tony Montana, James Blackmore and Kris Honeycombe pulling out all the stops to whip the crowd into a frenzy!

Taking their cue from the speakeasies of yesteryear, a motley crue of misfits formed the Bootleg Social. Bringing together a group of likeminded individuals, Bootleg Social will host their own room at Get Loaded in the Dark. Every Bootleg Social is wickedly themed from fashionaistas to speakeasy’s to masked balls, so the minute you walk in their room expect to lose yourself in a carefully crafted wonderland of excess. The house music will be sexy, the decor will be debauched and the vibe that wonderful blend of sophistication and sleaze. DJs Tobie Allen, Martin B, Future Filth, Seano, DJ Fhurst, Josh Hanger, Garth Hill, Mikey W, Dan C, Joe Akers, Junez, Laura Essence and Davey C will be on hand as they blaze a beat and spread their nasty groves wherever they can carve them. It’s Bootleg Social where it just feels so good to be bad!
