How can you say that? Aren't you interested in who's gonna be controlling how much tax you pay and whether your local hospital gets privatised or the scrapping of student fees? Don't you want more police on the streets!!!

We'll get fucked regardless of who's in control. Empty promises from all sides.

    I lost interest years ago.

But maybe if all the people who thought like you voted for a party with policies you agreed with... (I'm sure you'd find one, no matter how small), then maybe you could change what goes on in our country and the way we live our lifes!!!

I heard on Radio 1 they did a survey for 'young' people, only 1/3 of them were actually going to vote.

    Change isn't round the corner.

Labour look to be winning, but with around 100 fewer seats than last time. But barely any of those seats will go to the fence sitting Lib Dems.

Green does, and thats why i voted them.

I say, if one can vote, and he claims to live in a democracy, should vote.
Yes, we are fucked regardless of the final outcome, indeed, since all the fat cats are just lickin their anuses. And no, your single vote will not make a fucking difference.
Like wise tho, if you happen to see someone cutting down a healthy tree, dont kick off at him, cause a single tree less, wont change anything. And when look at the news about another suicide bomber in Iraq killing 10 civilians, dont blink an eyelid, cause it doesnt matter, just some more names in an allready large file.

If you ok with that, then stay home and dont vote.

And if you dont get moved by ideologistic lardi-dar, take it this way: on election day, for a change, you make the fat cats sweat... If you do care, but like many, dont agree with any of the parties, then go and cast an invalid vote.
Just imagine an election, where 99% of voters did turn up, and 100% of the votes read:
" GO FUCK YOURSELFS SCUMBAGS "
then theyd be really fuckin scared...!!

    :soap_box: :teeth:

imo, i have yet to see an *honest* politician *EVER*, all they seem to do is squable childishly amongst themselves, 1 man calling the other a lair etc. How refreshing would it be to hear a politician say "well, i'm not here to criticise the other guy, i'm here to present the ideas of my particular party to the nation, i'll trust the intelligence of the british public as a whole to decide wether they think the other guy is doing OK or not, or wether they think i could do better"

Only thing with that is, relying on someone elses intelligence is a very stupid thing to do!

    btw Vote Green
