ok, this is a realy gehto/lazy tip. have you drum track and instruments in one program, i.e. Reason then have your vocals and any other instruments in another program that you do for vocals/what ever, i.e. GarageBand (<<free and easy) have the same tempo, then when you hit play... BAM, they both play in sync simple, majorly gehto, even more lazy -Andy
I think he might be talking about rewire. He's inadvertantly discovered that opening garageband, and reason together sets one as the rewire master, and one as the slave and both are synchronized. I used this for years when I mainly used reason. Reason's complete lack of anything resembling an audio track frustrated me, so I started using Live 5.2 as my audiotracks, when rewired to reason. The more I used ableton live, the less I found myself using reason, until I stopped using reason all together. I dont think you have to set them both as the same speed though. Whatever speed is selected in one host, is reflected in the other. Rewire is pretty cool though.
actully this is quiet usefull seeing as the filters are shit in reason and u cant see the wav forms .. so you just open the two and the same time and they rewire them selves? Thanks in advance
