    Who remembers these little badboys?

I just bought one real cheap on ebay with 10 games, but seeing as I was always more of a Gameboy man in my youth, I dont really know which games ran the early 90's.....anyone enlighten me?

The heavy ones Ive already got are Sonic 1 & 2, Mortal Kombat and Shinobi ( :slayer: )

It`s funny I should find this thread here - I bagged a game gear the other day from ebay, its in the post and I should get it tomorrow morning.

I had a game gear when I was younger that broke and havent played any of those games for about 7 or 8 years......until tomorrow morning that is. Can`t wait. I`ve got the tv tuner aswell.

I`ve got streets of rage 2, Micro machines which was excellent. sonic 1&2 and sonic chaos, mortal kombat, lemmings, robocop vs terminator, land of illusion, columns --all these games are gonna get rinsed tomorrow.

You can get an adapter which lets you plug Sega Master System games into it aswell, which means you can play classics like Wonder Buy, Alex Kid etc etc. Also see if you can get hold of Sonic Drift.... Segas feeble attempt to copy Mario Kart... But the ultimate retro handheld gotta be Neo Geo pocket, i blagged one off ebay a while back with quality games like Metal Slug, SNK vs Capcom, Samurai Showdown & Sonic Pocket Adventure :not_worth :not_worth :not_worth

I still have mine and it still works. I had losts of games for it but the best ones were Ms. Pacman and this sick top scrolling shooter whos name eludes me.

Sonic 1 was good on this but Sonic 2 was terrible!!! It was so hard I never was able to get past the first level (volcano).

Another good game was Colums. This game was very good at getting me to sleep at night because the action and music was so peaceful. Sometimes I would just leave the game gear on the floor face down so I could just listen to the music.

Ohh!!!! I forgot to mention, the DONALD DUCK game gear game! That game was so awesome! It was like mario brothers but with donald duck and he hits other creatures with a sledge hammer. It sounds cheesy but the graphics, gameplay, and music were fantastic! At the time this game had even better graphics then any other game system I had,
