Hey All,
While browsing the Roland website trying to locate some parts for my newly acquired SH-101 (more on that in a future thread...) I stopped by the page for the Roland 201 page, as this synth has always been on my "buy for cheap on ebay" radar.
Much to my surprise and disappointment, Roland has ceased updating the drivers and editor plugin for the 201. The last official OSX covered is Mt. Lion. That said, if you were planning on picking up a 201, make sure you have a compatible OS beforehand.
Roland is usually on point with regards to updating legacy products...I can't help but think the discontinuation may be a result of the impending release for their upcoming AIRA series...perhaps a new synth will be among the new lot?
