FX with Sets

    Ezee all, I want to incorparate some live FX into my DJing sets but don't want the hassle of having to move a desktop PC everywhere. A Notebook would be a good idea but lack of money prevents me from that option for the time been. Can any1 suggest some good phaser, & filter units that can be transported easily, & do a good job when in the mix.

    Kaos Pads i heard are proper bo an they are small too,
    an theres something like the D-beam on the 505, that will give different effects depending on the position and closeness of you hand - dunno what its called tho?

    yeah, a couple of house djs I know use a kaos pad. Dunno though they just seem to get the same sound out of it.

    Klusta: A lappie may be cheaper than you think fella, I sell them from 200 bux upwards...

    What kinda spec machine would you need?

    don't rate the kaoss pad much it's a tad flimsy

    The pioneer EFX-500 is real nice
