fuzz and hiss when recording

    every time i try and record a mix i get horrible fuzz and shit
    i use audacity and the cable is perfect works fine for everything else
    i also uses a laptop
    is there any free way to sort this.lol

    try recording from something else like an mp3 player
    if you dont get the hiss then, it's a problem with your decks or mixer

    can be caused by interference form a power source.
    have you tried without the power attached to the laptop

    yea seems to quiten down alot with the power lead out but my battery has really shit life and dies in about half an hour.lol

    that means its a goundloop, you need a ground isolater or adapter to plug either your decks into, or your laptop
