Don't know if the part around 0:29-0:31 (those two extra hits) work for this one; maybe take out the kicks, do a hipass sweep, or cut and move it to a later part of the track. Just think it does too big a pace switch too soon, personally.

I like the shaker percussion work; thinking a more gritty textured layer sprinkled on top could give it even more energy. Beat overall is solid so just good luck and have fun putting the rest of the track together

maybe some different elements to create some dialogue with the bass, it sounds pretty repetitive to me all alone
