fucking audacity

i literally just recorded the best mix i have ever done and then fucking audacity fucking didn't record it just 34 minutes of silence!... is there any other free software i can use and trust to record my mixes?

You need to do a sound check before you record for real Dan. Proper soundbwoy tings now mate.



Also make sure you're recording in stereo and through line in...

Goldwave. Never had any problems, and had Audacity before which was wank!

yeah goldwave is wicked.
unless ur on a mac then u cant use it sadly.

u should be able to see a waveform of what u have recorded, if u can then it might be ur playback settings.

This! If you've recorded 34 min of silience then its your fault not Audacitys!

well i got goldwave now and done a sound check it works lol
