it is all about uni. you don't have to turn up for fuck all. mind you paying as much as you have to for it, gives you some incentive to go!

I failed my first year of college... although with my 48% attendance and only handing in about 3 or 4 assignments I can't really blame them. I don't regret it tho, it was an awesome year of getting fucked and having fun.

I resat it and passed the second time around.

my school attendance and 6th form attendance was attrocious... always turning up an hour late, missing lessons to play poker or go to town and shit... falling asleep in class, i used to be a proper brainy swat then somewhere that changed, lol.

to be fair though, if you didn't turn up to work several times without good reason you would be fired so a college has just as much right to kick you out... although, warnings first would be much better (as you would get at work).

when i was at college though, i blazed all the live long day and went to fuck all lectures... i think if i went back for a music course or something i would piss the lecturers off for being their all the time!

is there a difference between college and uni?

we dont have anything called college here. i thought it was just the same as university.

you wouldnt get thrown out of uni for not turning up. they'd only let you go if your grades were continually too low.

there is a big difference. here you go to college (or 6th form if its attached to a school) at around 16 i guess when you finish school, get A levels, and then go on to uni from there (or can do at least) to get a bachelors or masters.
