Fucked Speakers OR New Needles?

My speakers are either fucked or it is time to get new needles. Certain tunes are just sounding like shit like tunes with reese filters or growling basslines. I haven't ever replaced my needles so I'm kinda hoping thats all it is. How can I tell exactly?

Try connecting your speakers to a CD player, or another form of media player, that way you'll be able to tell which is buggered.

but if you've never changed your needles before, its more likely going to be that one than the other- needles lifetimes are shortened each time you use them, The depreciation of speaker lifetime isnt half as drastic as that of needles.

make sure your needles have a proper conectrion as in the wires are connected, like maybe, as in the wire plugeged in maaaaan, yea v
