fruity help please!

how do i link a whole pattern to a track in the mixer on fruity loops? basically i want to put an effect on the whole pattern, cheers

in the top left of the channel settings palette is a battery icon, assign the sample or vst you want to a free channel, the number will change above FX in the top left of the palette. go into the mixer (its the equalizer looking icon on the top bar) or double click the number above FX in the channel settings palette.

once this is done, you can add any sample to it by changing the number to be the same in the FX in the palette.

if its a drum pattern you want to apply effects to for a short time, export a wav of your drums, reload it, then apply the filter to it.

cheers mate, i assigned the pattern to it and automated the frequency in the end
