    It was a great strike but the keeper should not be beaten from there. He has time to prepare before the free kick, the ball is in the air for a few seconds, its not like Figerors which came out of the blue or a Darren Amrbose special.

    different types, i think that one was better, it was like a bullet, flat trajectory and just flew in, figuerora's had more luck to it, in that the keeper wasn't expecting the shot, wereas in this one the player is fairly obviously going to shoot.
    having said that shit keeping

    I dont know if Figuerora's had more luck to it. It was in the one spot which the keeper couldn't get to. He hit it perfectly. Surely this one is luckier because the keeper had more time to try and stop it.

    Yeh Figuerora's was unsavable! Plus it was in his own half and he must have ate his weatabix that morning to even think of shooting!
