Fred V & Grafix type drum fills

Hey guys, I've been listening to a lot of Fred V & Grafix's new songs that they have been putting out, and I love the work they do with their drum fills. Notably the ones they use in Long Distance, Daddy remix etc
Does anyone know if these are samples, and if they're not, any advice on how to recreate my own? I'm not a drummer so I don't know much about drums, but I've been messing around with different kick samples, snares etc. I'm not getting anywhere really

I havent listened to the tunes you said but its more than likely to be layering old funk breaks with one shots.
