lol raiden, really? I get you're point sort of but it isn't a great example imo.

Did I miss something? Is Raiden not good to the cool kids? Both producers are similar in that they make hard, bass driven tunes with very unique/stylized percussion. Their tunes have a tribal/techno influence. You can spot both their tunes a mile away because they stick to unique drum kits.
 
Yeah, let's not compare producers. I was paying fre4knc a big compliment. Fuck it though. Drum and bass gonna hate as usual.

Come on man, no one is hating anything at all. That's your opinion and this is a forum. A lot of times on forums people don't agree with opinions, this is the nature of a forum. We get that you think it's a compliment but that doesn't mean we all have to unanimously agree or be labelled haters. I think labelling anyone the new anything belittle's all the effort they have put into creating something unique, but that's my opinion and you are free to disagree with it and I won't think of you as a hater at all :)
 
Yeah nothing against raiden, don't really get it as either a comparison or a compliment tho.

I was being sarcastic about the hater thing. Nevertheless, as I said earlier, I do see a lot of similarities in their production and influences though.
 
mainly what jungle fever said.
And i tend to think of raiden more in terms of tunes like fallin, mirage remix etc (ie the hardware era stuff) rather than his newer and slightly more experimental stuff.
