Wow, that is very unlucky, poor woman
thats serious biznis all right, something I've thought about myself too. like the other day when I noticed my right ear was softer than my left ear, (hearing-wise, that is).
What ear do you cue up in?
I've noticed a load of djs going slowly deaf... you take their phones from them and the levels are painful... ow.
Ah what the hell. 1 crappy r&b singer less and 1000 crappy more.
I didn't really look at it like that. I saw a woman coming down with something that is very unfortunate, I hope she gets better soon.
Ok Stu. Don't be mad @ me. It's not funny to get deaf. I think I gonna kill myself if i'm deaf.
No d'n'b or other music. It will make me crazy.
s'all gone a bit Pete Tong!
I went for a company medical and had an ear test, my right (monitor) ear is slightly worse at low frequencies! Nout to worry bout but still a dj'in effect al the same.
I cue in both ears as much as possible mate, anticipated this type of problem years ago, but I do actually just need to get my ears cleaned too!
My dad has deafness from working with loud machinery half his life, but this type of thing is far more serious and I think it might be worse than blindness. If you can compare that thing
Blindness... no way. Unless you're a real dnb head. At least the deaf can walk around, read lips and jump on a subwoofer for fun... I'm pretty sure you could mix house (or even dnb) deaf by reading the lights...
Dustek, music is this girl's life, what she does to pay the bills, and something that solely relies on hearing alone. Going deaf is probably the worst thing that can happen to you.
Personally I would rather be semi-blind than semi-deaf.....
From an outsiders point of view there are more provisions for blind people to live a "normal" (prob the wrong word) life.
yeah I was chatting about this to someone the other day, I kinda thought the other way around ... like you dont need to see to walk into shops, or catch a bus, or answer your front door.
Was watching a blind guy play guitar on the street and he had a little cage over his money tray to stop it being knicked, counted his money by touch every few minutes.
makes you think anyway
Fucking aye captain.
Hope she fights it, but I also hope she never records another song again.
Right, its a shame she wasn't going mute instead, that would be more of a blessing than a tragedy
Separate names with a comma.
