Forthcoming on Horizons Music

High time a label with as many releases as Horizons had a thread of its own. Horizons Music are back after a half-year of silence in 2015, with releases by Amoss, Hydro & War among others and it looks like they've got a lot of music in the pipeline, including releases by Need For Mirrors, Release and an artist album by Nitri as well as Dreamthief 5!

2 album tps arrived, horizons 92-97 tps here too.. Plus 4 12s almost completed and horizons 100 started. Am so happy and excited about the future of the label, the music lined up is pure vibes..

Another day. 4 more 12s completed. All mastered next week..lots of debuts on the label and an artist who is returning after 90 or so releases have lapsed in our catalogue!!

Neil dropping bombs. Maximum respect to you for just about reaching the big 100! Few labels today can pull that off while pushing vinyl. :respekt:

I have a little EP of solo tracks from around the same period coming on Horizons next month, leading with a lost Steo vocalled track that I forgot existed! That’s it for the vaults tunes for the time being….

Naibu 'Corners' (Horizons Music)

Naibu is France’s answer to Calibre, and he’s the real deal. Boasting a vault of tracks from liquid’s golden age on labels such as Creative Source, Soul:r and Bassbin, the producer has released his occasional deep-end mosaics mainly on Horizons over the last decade. Now, he makes his return to the label with a new dancefloor-tipped LP performed and recorded entirely at home. There are no samples to be found here, just a fiercely intelligent musical aesthetic: crackly, rolling liquid-silk on the title track, Rufige Kru-style grit amid experimental percussion on ‘Burning’ and some Calibre-standard vocals and keys on ‘No Return’. After an admittedly rather leftfield last LP (‘Case Study’ on Scientific Records), ‘Corners’ is a delicious return to a danceable format.

hm, the description sounds interesting, can't wait for this. I love pretty much everything that Horizons have been releasing lately, and I don't think this album will be an exception.
