After five years of being dormant, Aaron Jay’s Influence Records is back for 2016! The label was hugely active between 2008-2011 and was responsible for releasing a string of quality releases from then, up and coming and now established artists including; Eveson, Soul Intent, Data, Mr Joseph, Dave Owen and Random Movement.
Born out of the days when Aaron Jay was Fabio’s resident at the legendary night Swerve (The END), Aaron was a regular DJ at a variety of London clubs including Fabric and Movement at Bar Rumba. The label was known for championing the deeper side of liquid and received huge support from the likes of Doc Scott, Fabio, D Bridge, Marcus Intalex, LTJ Bukem, Alix Perez and Lynx to name a few and had regular play on Radio1 and 1Xtra.
Fast forward to 2016 and the label is fighting fit and is ready yet again to release some top notch, quality drum and bass.
With a number of releases never making it to the mastering table and locked away for five years, the label decided to kick off 2016 with ‘The Fort Knox Series’. A three single series (which includes a special track by Aaron Jay and Lynx (Soul:R/Detail) - Vol 1 is a single originally signed in 2009 and is by none other than Specific (Good Looking and Horizons Music). He has produced many tracks alongside Shogun Audio and Exit Records’ Alix Perez and has had his music supported by the likes of LTJ Bukem, Bailey and Fabio.
