Format Question

i was wondering which format to get to start djing again, i love vinyl but it might be easier to get cd decks maybe? especially as im going to start producing.

what is everyone else's preference and why?

CD, cheaper in the long run and saves a lot od space and heart ache when the bugger vinyl gets scratched

Also consider a DVS (Digital Vinyl System) like Serato. Best of both worlds really. You can play mp3s on your vinyl turntables.

yea, if you gots the money then definately serato. that way you can still use your vinyl and still enjoy collecting vinyl, but then when u wanna mix with tunes that are not released or dubs, then you can just flick a switch and mix with mp3s. wish i could afford serato lol. i do love vinyl tho.
