    What would be better?

I am planning on recording xbox/sky in HD and I know two very decent capture cards. I know people who have both (as in 1 has 1 of them, another has the other one), and I'm undecided on what to get.

The Hauppauge HD PVR has amazing quality, but it uses RGB cables to record. It also records in .H264 codec, which is apparently a bitch to edit with.
The Black Magic Intensity Pro records in a different codec using HDMI, and apparently is really good for editing with. The PVR is 35 quid more, but it's a standalone unit, and the Intensity Pro slots in the back of your PC.

    HD PVR:

I'd rather have the PVR, but apparently there is a difference in quality, even though they both record 1080i video.

If anyone knows about these products let me know (y) :)
