Basically, I'm doing a year studying abroad in Madrid from September and am wondering whether it's worth the risk of putting my 2 cdj's and mixer in a suitcase and flying them over. Are they going to survive the flight or are they going to end up getting smashed up by some douche working baggage handling?

if you've got the original boxes and polystyrene casing they should be fine.

If you can't take them as hand luggage you should really get them shipped. Depends how big/heavy they are really.

Teddy's the man to ask he may get you a discount if you agree to carry a package for him. Discreetly of course.

I work for one of the largest shipping companies around and I'm often at the airport helping drivers load and unload (in b4 ghey pun).

Lemme tell you dis... Bags get flung. Things get broken and nobody gives a fuck.
