flashed sites?

Are flashed sites (G2, Freak, DSCI4...) any good?

    what do you think, are flashed sites any good?
    looks spectacular, but doesnt really promote interactivity.

    They can be great when you first enter the site, but after a while pages get a little slow & can be frustrating if your working from a lower speed PC or MAC.

    i think it's about how you use it... a nice flashy "introduction" ain't bad as long as you can skip it fast if you seen it before.. the moplayaz site a cool example of a full flash site. requires heaps of knowledge and education on flashing though.

    but i like it!

    and have to remember that most people don't have broadbands in their home...

    There you have it folks. Flash is better suited to doing animations and drawings than websites i reckon.

    No backbuttons or bookmarking pisses me off no end

    Flash is annoying. Concentrate on useability and content. Pictures are enough to spice up a site IMO.
