    Ez peeeps

Anyone know how to increase FL studios performance so you dont get that horrible stutter and clicky sound.

Or help optimise it for large file songs at least?

1)Render everything to audio... + switch off plugins..
2)Options - > project general settings -> Timebase (PPQ) Put this shitz to 24. Helps a crapload.
    3) Tools -> macros - > switch smart disable for all plugins
    4) ???? ..................................................................................................................................................... ( have a fast wank )
    5) PROFIT

Yeah like groelle said, just go into the audio options and slide the buffer to the right a little. It's a simple latency issue

If you dont have a dedicated audio interface, get the asio4all driver and select that from the options (if you havent already, pretty basic). brap.

render synths to audio and use samplers.

dont use impulse reverbs, they bring a computer down like nothing.

do you have any audio interface or just using the onboard sound card?
Also please define 'big song'. Is it hundreds of patterns with lots of effects playing at the same time? Or just few but with resource hogs like EWQL plugins?
